Well this forum is going to give creative RPers the oppurtunitie to write their own versions of Greek mythology, monsters wander unchallenged and the Gods will only make sure their favorites live through the trials and tortures of the enraged beasts. Your challenge is to become one of those "Favorites" and save your species from the beasts that terrorize the friends and family you love.[/center]

Humans - Olive colored skin and Blond hair for the most part, however this depends on where you are from Trojans will have Brown hair and Egyptians will have darker skin and hair. Humans are the typical pawns of the gods and goddesses Humans can become Heroes where as other races can't but Humans can't be monsters. We need as many Humans as possible.

Dryads - Wood nymphs can turn into trees when scared or hiding from something. They are pretty and wear a lot of earthy colors like dark greens and light brown. They can create any fruit bearing trees except Olive trees.

Hamadryads - related to the Dryads, these nymphs were so closely part of the trees they inhabited that it was said that they died along with their trees. They are made of wood and have leafs and branches. Basically there walking trees. They have a tie with a specific tree and rarely associate with any of the gods. No jewelry some may be in bloom or fruit though.

Leimoniads - nymphs of the meadow. Bright colors and flowy clothes. Very daintily built and they can turn into flowers and flowing grasses. Another cool magic to their ways is they can create flowers and crops like wheat and corn. They wear flowers and wreaths around their heads.

Meliae - these were nymphs of a particular kind of tree, The Ash tree they are evil and spawns of Cronus blood. There dark and evil. Tall and slender and cragily features to them like lumps and warts. The wear no jewlery.

Naiads - nymphs associated with water. Rivers and lakes dwelling below they have minor control over Rains and the flow of rivers. Always young looking and often chased by the horny little Satyrs that can be found luring them out of the river with their special musical talents. Lots of Blues and light greens in their clothing. Smooth rocks and glass jewlery adorns the blue tented skin of these Nymphs. Always female.

Nereids - sea-nymphs; they were the daughters of Nereus and Doris. Sleeping at the bottom of the ocean they have minor control over the waves and what not. They have greens and teals in their clothing and very flowing cloth garments. Lots of pearls and shells adorn the fair skin of these Nymphs. Male or female.

Oreads - nymphs of mountains. Create small earthquakes and can rip crags through the ground. Strong and always male. Big brutish man Nymphs with beards muscles and a joking personality they love to wrestle and challenge each other to battles.

Centaurs - Half human half horse. Driven by Wine and sex. Excellent Archers and hand to hand combat masters. They are worshipers of Apollo and are known to kill without thought when angry or drunk. Male or female.

Fawn - Half goat half female human. Very natural and in tune with Nature. Quick to fall in love and they use small bows and daggers in thier fights. Smaller than their Male counter parts fawns tend to flee away from their unsightly brethren and have a boiling hatred for the Nymphs and Dryads because the Satyrs desire them more than the Fawns. They ware animal furs with lots of feathers. Male or female.

Satyr - Half goat half male human. Music and sex are the two most important factors in the life of any satyr. They battle with small shields and swords. The ware dark colors mostly animal furs.

Harpies - Large eagles with female human faces and chests. Sharp talons and huge wing spans. No clothes but some may have bright attractive plumage

Amazons - Tall man hating women with an eye for their target. They wear lots of leather and long capes the bow is their weapon of choice and Artemis is the Deity they follow.
